A 7.5 inch black-and-white e-ink display powered and updated wirelessly via NFC from a smartphone, no battery or cables needed, supplied with an ABS case
The LORDWORLD 7.5inch display is an NFC-powered e-paper development board with an 800x480 resolution black and white screen. It targets makers and IoT developers who want a wireless display that needs no battery or power adapter. The board arrives inside an ABS case for immediate handling.
Because the screen draws energy only during an NFC refresh, it produces no heat and makes no noise in normal use. There is no backlight, so static images remain visible indefinitely without any power draw. The display stays completely inert between smartphone updates.
Content changes are sent from a phone with NFC or from an NFC reader using the supplied app, removing the need for wired data lines or a host controller. The included ABS case protects the board while keeping the antenna accessible. Projects that require continuous video, colour output or wired interfaces cannot use this panel.
Measured against everything we stock in Single-Board Computers & Dev Kits, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

Place the board inside the supplied ABS case, then bring an NFC-enabled smartphone or reader close to the display to wirelessly power the 800x480 e-Paper and transfer the new image; the step people forget is holding the device steady until the full refresh finishes.
The e-Paper retains the last 7.5 inch black-and-white image without any power, so no battery ever needs changing; only the ABS case or the NFC coil would require replacement if physically damaged.
Each NFC-powered refresh of the 800x480 panel takes several seconds, so the update rate is the first bottleneck when changing content repeatedly.
