ABS plastic case with side clamps and a clear top protects a 7.5 inch e-Paper panel from dust while keeping it shelf-ready
This ABS plastic case is designed to protect a 7.5-inch e-Paper raw panel in shelf-edge or signage deployments. It fits the standard (B), HD (B), and (C) panel variants without a HAT attached. The side-clamp mechanism secures the panel while allowing quick insertion or removal for maintenance. Makers and integrators building custom IoT displays will find the enclosure a practical housing solution.
The rigid ABS shell maintains its shape under continuous handling and temperature swings typical of retail environments. A clear top cover shields the display surface from dust and fingerprints while preserving full visibility of the e-Paper image. Because the case has no active cooling, it relies on passive airflow around the panel, which is sufficient for the low refresh cycles of e-Paper technology. The clamp design distributes pressure evenly, preventing warping during long-term mounting.
High-quality ABS plastic provides impact resistance and enough flexibility to snap the clamps without cracking. The open bottom edge leaves the panel’s connector accessible so developers can route flat cables directly to their driver board. No mounting holes or brackets are moulded into the case, so installers must devise their own shelf-fixing method. Note that HAT-equipped panels will not fit, so buyers needing HAT compatibility should look elsewhere.

The ABS plastic enclosure has no electronics, fans or moving parts, so it produces zero heat and no audible noise while the display runs all day.
You need a bare 7.5inch e-Paper panel — either the standard, (B), HD (B) or (C) variant — because HAT versions are explicitly incompatible with the side-clamp design.
No, the case is not compatible with any HAT version, so an older HAT-mounted panel will not fit inside the clamping rails.
