Angled DC-to-USB-C adapter for high-power charging
This 90-degree adapter converts a 7.4x5.0mm DC input into a USB-C output capable of delivering up to 140W. It targets owners of 135W or 140W barrel-jack chargers who need to power modern laptops, tablets or phones via Type-C. The right-angle design eases connection where straight plugs would foul adjacent ports or chassis walls.
Limited to 18-20V DC sources
The adapter only accepts an 18-20V DC supply rated for 140W and relies on its built-in 20V 7A PD trigger to request power. Output is restricted to the fixed PDO voltages listed: 5V/2A, 9V/3A, 15V/2A, 20V/3.25A, 20V/5A and 20V/7A. It cannot step up voltage, so a lower-voltage barrel source will not work, and it does not support PPS or arbitrary voltage steps.
Check your charger voltage
Verify that your existing barrel charger outputs 18-20V and is rated for at least the wattage your device draws. Confirm the target device accepts one of the fixed output profiles above; mismatched voltage or current can damage the equipment. The adapter suits 65W, 100W and 140W USB-C gear but cannot serve devices needing higher voltage or programmable supply modes.
