FlexStack cable for Catalyst 2960 series

This stacking cable connects compatible Catalyst 2960-S, 2960-SF, 2960-X and 2960-XR switches. It supports up to 20 Gbps on the 2960-S and 2960-SF models when used with C2960S-STACK or 2960S-F-STACK modules. On 2960-X and 2960-XR models it reaches 40 Gbps with C2960X-STACK FlexStack Plus or C2960X-HYBRID-STK hybrid modules. The link enables a single configuration across up to 8 stacked switches.

The cable suits administrators building a unified stack of supported Catalyst 2960-S, 2960-SF, 2960-X or 2960-XR units. It also fits BladeCenter Switch Module 3110G, 3110X, Blade Switch 3120G, 3120X, 3130G M1000e IP Base and 3130X M1000e IP Base. Environments that require longer runs, different stacking protocols or non-Catalyst hardware should look at other interconnect options.

Ready-to-use stacking link without extra modules

The .5 metre cable provides the physical connection; bandwidth depends on the FlexStack module installed in each switch. No additional software licences or adapters are bundled. Switches must already have the appropriate C2960S-STACK, 2960S-F-STACK, C2960X-STACK or C2960X-HYBRID-STK modules for the link to operate at the stated speeds.
