LORDWORLD CAT.5e Extension Cable Pair

This two-pack of CAT.5e Ethernet extension cables lets you lengthen an existing network run without replacing the whole link. Each cable carries a 1000 Mbps rated transfer speed and uses standard 8P8C RJ45 connectors. The set suits home-office users, lab bench setups or anyone needing a quick reach extension for a router, switch or IoT gateway.

Nickel-plated Shells and Flexible PVC Jacket

Nickel-plated iron shells around the connectors provide effective interference shielding to help maintain signal quality. A flexible PVC jacket makes routing around corners and through cable trays straightforward. The construction supports normal indoor temperatures and draws no external power, so operation stays silent and cool.

Questions about this item

How do I install the RJ45 connectors on this CAT.5e extension cable and which step is often done wrong?

Align the 8P8C plug with the port, push until the latch clicks, and verify the nickel-plated iron shell seats fully; the step people miss is not hearing the click and leaving a partial connection.

What maintenance will the nickel-plated iron shell and PVC jacket need over time?

Inspect the shell for corrosion and the jacket for cracks; replace the cable if shielding degrades or the latch no longer holds at 1000 Mbps.
