Development board that adapts a Compute Module 4 to Raspberry Pi 4B form factor with four USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet and PoE header
This board converts a Compute Module 4 into a Raspberry Pi 4B form factor. It accepts CM4 Lite or eMMC modules with a Quad Core Cortex A72 64-bit processor. Makers and embedded engineers use it to prototype carrier boards while keeping the familiar Pi 4B layout.
Align the CM4 module with the onboard connector and press firmly until seated. The board then drops into any case or HAT designed for the Pi 4B. A frequent mistake is inserting the module upside down, which bends connector pins and prevents boot.
An onboard PoE header lets you add a PoE HAT for single-cable power and data. This suits deployments where mains sockets are scarce. Builds that rely on the standard USB-C power input do not need this header and can leave it unpopulated.

Connect power and watch the CM4 activity LED; a blinking green light means the processor has started and the carrier board is passing power and data correctly.
The adapter board is supplied alone; you must provide a Compute Module 4 Lite or eMMC unit, a 5 V power source, and any PoE HAT if you want Power over Ethernet.
Any Compute Module 4 with the Quad Core Cortex A72 64-bit processor — both Lite and eMMC versions fit the onboard connector and work with the four USB 3.0 ports and Gigabit Ethernet.
