Dual Oculink to M.2 NVMe adapter
This LORDWORLD adapter connects up to two PCIe NVMe SSDs to a host through dual SFF-8611 or SFF-8612 Oculink ports. It accepts M-key drives in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths. A SATA power connection is required for operation. The card does not support SAS, SATA or Slimline SAS devices.
PCIe 4.0 and 5.0 x4 Oculink interface
Each Oculink 4x link carries a PCIe 4.0 or 5.0 x4 signal between the host and an NVMe SSD. Bandwidth is therefore limited to the capabilities of that single x4 lane. The adapter cannot aggregate the two ports into a wider link, nor can it translate NVMe to SAS or SATA protocols. Cable length and signal integrity follow the Oculink specification.
Two NVMe drives with x4 bandwidth each
The board accommodates two NVMe SSDs simultaneously, each receiving a full x4 connection when both Oculink ports are used. A single drive can also be run from one port while the second remains unused. Maximum supported form factor is 2280; longer 22110 modules are not compatible. There is no onboard switching, so each drive is limited to one x4 link.

Questions about this item
Which M.2 NVMe form factors does this adapter support?
The adapter accepts dual M.2 NVMe SSDs in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths.
What bandwidth does the PCIe 4.0 / 5.0 x4 Oculink interface provide to each NVMe drive?
Each drive receives a full x4 lane link, delivering up to PCIe 4.0 or 5.0 speeds depending on the host and cable.
What do the SFF-8611 and SFF-8612 connectors limit in practice?
They cap the link to PCIe 4.0 / 5.0 x4 per port and require SATA power; the adapter cannot pass SAS, SATA or Slimeline SAS signals.
