A 1.64 inch AMOLED capacitive touch display board with 280 by 456 resolution, 16.7 million colours, 178 degree viewing angle, ESP32-S3 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5 connectivity for IoT development
The LORDWORLD ESP32-S3 development board integrates a 1.64-inch AMOLED capacitive touch panel with a 280×456 resolution. It uses the CO5300 display driver and FT3168 touch controller to deliver 16.7M colours and a 178° viewing angle. Wireless connectivity includes 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 802.11 and Bluetooth 5 LE with mesh support.
The AMOLED panel handles rich graphical interfaces, live sensor dashboards and smooth animations within the ESP32-S3 memory budget. Complex 3D rendering or sustained high-frame-rate video will exceed the onboard resources. Wi-Fi bandwidth of 40 MHz suits typical IoT telemetry and OTA updates but not heavy media streaming.
Makers moving from monochrome OLEDs or small TFT LCDs gain touch input, wider colour gamut and native wireless stacks in one module. The jump is worth it when a project needs simultaneous display, touch and cloud connectivity without wiring multiple shields. Builders who need larger screens or higher GPIO counts should look elsewhere.

The board uses an ESP32-S3 with a CO5300 display driver over QSPI and an FT3168 capacitive touch chip, so existing ESP-IDF or Arduino sketches that target those peripherals can be adapted with minimal changes.
Run a test pattern that fills the 16.7 million colour AMOLED panel edge to edge and view it from extreme angles; the image should remain sharp and colour-accurate at 178 degrees.
The development board itself is supplied; a USB-C cable and 5 V power source for the ESP32-S3 wireless subsystem must be purchased separately.
