A compact ESP32-S3 development board with a 2.16-inch AMOLED touch display, 480×480 resolution, 16.7M colours and 178° viewing angle for smart-device prototyping
The LORDWORLD ESP32-S3 board integrates a 2.16inch AMOLED touch display for compact smart-device prototyping. It targets makers and engineers building portable human-machine interfaces that need colour graphics and capacitive input. The module ships new and includes dual microphones for voice-enabled projects. Battery connection support allows untethered operation in field deployments.
The 480 × 480 panel renders 16.7M colours across a 178° viewing angle for vivid images and video previews. AMOLED technology provides precise pixel-level light control that outperforms traditional LCD contrast in wearable and handheld form factors. The 2.16inch diagonal restricts the amount of on-screen information, so dense dashboards or small text become impractical. Complex 3D rendering or high-frame-rate animation will exceed the ESP32-S3 graphics throughput.
The onboard CO5300 display driver and CST9220 capacitive touch chip handle all screen communication without external components. This integration decides whether the board fits a design that requires minimal PCB footprint and simplified BOM. Developers using ESP-IDF or Arduino IDE gain immediate access to display and touch APIs through provided tutorials. Projects needing alternative display interfaces or resistive touch must select different hardware.

The board is a self-contained ESP32-S3 development kit with its own CO5300 display driver and CST9220 touch controller; it connects to external hardware through its GPIO pins and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi plus BLE 5 links.
Run the factory demo or an Arduino IDE example that draws colour patterns across the 178° wide-view panel and logs touch coordinates from the CST9220 chip to the serial monitor.
The board supports connecting a battery for standalone use, but the bundle contains only the development board itself; a compatible cell and any wiring must be sourced separately.
