A 2.8 inch round IPS display with 480×480 resolution and 160° viewing angle, driven by an ESP32-S3 and expandable via GPIO, UART and I2C
The LORDWORLD ESP32-S3 board integrates a 2.8-inch round display with a 480×480 resolution. It targets makers and engineers building compact IoT edge devices that need a circular screen. The board ships new and includes comprehensive SDK resources for ESP-IDF and Arduino IDE.
The single specification that decides fit is the 480×480 IPS panel. Its 160-degree viewing angle keeps the circular UI readable from steep side angles. Projects needing a different resolution or a rectangular aspect ratio cannot use this display.
Under continuous load the board relies on its GPIO, UART and I2C interfaces to attach sensors, actuators or additional radios. The ESP32-S3 core manages Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity while driving the display. Builds that require built-in high-current drivers or onboard storage beyond the MCU flash are not supported.

The 480 by 480 pixel grid packs a high pixel density into the 2.8 inch circular panel, so text, icons and graphics appear sharp with no visible pixel structure at normal viewing distances.
The board breaks out GPIO, UART and I2C pins, letting you attach sensors, actuators or additional modules directly to the ESP32-S3 without extra level-shifting hardware.
The circular PCB outline and the display’s 160 degree viewing angle allow flush mounting behind a round cut-out, and the board’s perimeter holes accept standard M2 or M3 standoffs for secure fixing.
