ESP32-S3 board with 1.28 inch round capacitive touch LCD, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5 in a CNC metal case
The LORDWORLD ESP32-S3 board combines a dual-core Xtensa LX7 processor running at 240MHz with a 1.28inch round capacitive touch display. It includes 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5 connectivity plus a 6-axis IMU for motion sensing. The CNC metal case and acrylic base create a compact, ready-to-use platform for wearable or embedded prototypes.
The onboard GC9A01-driven LCD delivers 240×240 resolution at 65K colour, removing the need for a separate screen module. The CST816S touch controller adds capacitive input, while the QMI8658 IMU provides accelerometer and gyroscope data for gesture detection. A 3.7V lithium battery header with MX1.25 connector enables portable operation without extra wiring.
Flashing and power use the Type-C port, which also serves as a USB serial interface for debugging. Only six GPIO lines are exposed through the SH1.0 connector, limiting peripheral expansion compared to bare modules. The metal case requires careful antenna placement for reliable 2.4 GHz performance, and the small form factor makes soldering to the header pins difficult for beginners.

The 16 MB Flash and 2 MB PSRAM are soldered on the board and not user-replaceable; typical embedded Flash endurance is sufficient for development workloads.
Sustained 240 MHz load draws more current than the onboard 3.7 V MX1.25 header can supply, so voltage sag will occur before any thermal throttle.
The metal case acts as a heatsink and becomes noticeably warm; the Type-C area stays cooler because power regulation is distributed across the board.
