Dual-band Wi-Fi 300/867 Mbps and Bluetooth 4.2 on an Intel 8265AC M.2 module for Jetson Nano
This LORDWORLD module adds dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 to the Jetson Nano developer kit. It uses the Intel 8265AC chip and connects through an NGFF M.2 slot. The board measures 22mm × 30mm × 2.4mm and is aimed at makers who need wireless connectivity for edge-computing projects.
The module draws power directly from the M.2 interface and operates without active cooling. Passive heat dissipation across the 22mm × 30mm PCB keeps temperatures stable during typical wireless workloads. No fan or heatsink is required, so acoustic output remains at zero.
An IPEX antenna connector is provided, so external antennas must be sourced separately. The module fits any M.2 NGFF keyed slot wired for PCIe and USB signals. Supported operating systems include Linux and Windows 10/8.1/8/7, freeing the developer to choose the software stack.

Insert the module into the NGFF M.2 slot at an angle, secure it with the mounting screw, then attach the IPEX antennas — the step often missed is connecting both antenna cables before closing the case.
The IPEX connectors are rated for limited mating cycles; if Wi-Fi range drops, replace the pigtail cables or antennas rather than the module itself.
Thermal throttling of the Intel 8265AC chip typically appears first, reducing throughput before the 802.11ac link saturates.
