SKU CH-6X8T-NP975

Converts an M.2 Key-M NVME slot to Key A+E or Key-E for Wifi6 and WIFI7 modules in 2242, 2260 or 2280 sizes

  • Adds Wi-Fi 6/7 to an M.2 Key-M slot via Key-E adapter
  • Supports 2242, 2260, 2280 Key-M connectors without extra power
  • Pass-through design keeps wireless module performance unchanged
  • Works with A+E and E-key PCIe wireless cards only
  • Desktop PCIe Key-M port required for installation

Compatible SSD form factors

This adapter accepts M.2 modules in 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths with a Key-M connector. It is intended for desktop builders who want to repurpose an M.2 Key-M slot for a Key-A+E or Key-E wireless card using PCIe signalling.

Sustained operation

The riser only changes the physical interface and does not alter the wireless module's performance. No extra power is needed and the small board is designed for stable operation under continuous load.

Installation checks

Verify the motherboard provides an M.2 PCIe Key-M slot and that the wireless module uses PCIe protocol rather than CNVI. Some Key-E cards are incompatible with AMD platforms, so confirm module compatibility before ordering.
