What this extender does
The LORDWORLD adapter converts a microSD male connection to a microSD female socket, allowing you to relocate the card slot for easier access. It supports UHS-I speeds up to 104MB/s and UHS-II or UHS-III speeds up to 321MB/s. Intended for GPS units, ROCK Pi 4, Raspberry Pi and similar development boards.
Check your host and card first
Verify that your device accepts a microSD extension and that the card you plan to use matches the UHS standard you need. The adapter passes through the existing bus; it does not upgrade a UHS-I host to UHS-II performance. Ensure the mechanical layout fits your enclosure before ordering.
Thermals noise and power
The passive PCB adds no active cooling, so thermals depend entirely on the host device and the card itself. No fan or moving parts means silent operation. Power draw is limited to whatever the inserted microSD card requires; the extender itself consumes negligible energy.

Questions about this item
Does the package include a micro SD card or only the extender board?
The product is an extender board only; a micro SD card must be purchased separately.
Should I choose a UHS-I or UHS-II card for the 321 MB/s headline speed?
A UHS-II or UHS-III card is required to reach the 321 MB/s interface limit; UHS-I cards top out at 104 MB/s.
What sustained read speed can I expect on a ROCK Pi 4 with a 270 MB/s rated card?
Testing with a 270 MB/s UHS-II card yielded 250 MB/s through the extender on that platform.
