NEMA L7-15P Twist Lock Plug

The LORDWORLD NEMA L7-15P is a rewireable male plug rated 15A at 277V with a maximum load of 4155W. It uses a unique T-type blade structure that only mates with a matching NEMA L7-15R receptacle to prevent misconnection.

Industrial installers and generator operators

Suited for electricians and technicians wiring high-voltage generators, construction machinery or commercial equipment indoors and outdoors. Not suited for users needing a standard straight-blade connector or a receptacle rather than a plug.

15A 277V capacity with 10-18AWG range

Handles continuous rated loads up to 4155W with low heat build-up thanks to solid copper terminals and a UL94-V0 fire-resistant nylon shell. Screw terminals accept 10AWG to 18AWG three-conductor SJT, SVT, STO or SJTW cords for flexible repairs.

Questions about this item

What receptacle must I already have to use this plug?

You need a matching NEMA L7-15R receptacle; the T-type blade structure only mates with that specific configuration.

How does the twist-lock action protect my existing 277 V generator circuit?

After insertion the plug twists to lock firmly, preventing accidental disconnection under vibration or load on the generator circuit.

How can I confirm the terminals are wired correctly after installation?

Terminals are clearly coded X, Y, Z, G and W; match each conductor to its marked position for standardized, error-free wiring.
