Mono global-shutter camera board captures 1280 × 800 video at 160° FOV without rolling-shutter distortion
The LORDWORLD OV9281-160 is a mono camera module built for makers working with Raspberry Pi boards. It connects directly to Pi 4B, 3B+, 3A+, 3B, 2B, B+ and A+ variants. An extra FPC cable is needed for Zero and Zero 2 W models.
The global shutter removes the rolling-shutter jello effect that appears when recording quick movement. This makes the board better suited to high frame-rate capture than rolling-shutter alternatives. The 160° field of view gives a wide angle for robotics or drone vision.
The sensor delivers a fixed resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels. Buyers who need higher pixel counts for detailed inspection or photogrammetry should look elsewhere. This specification defines the maximum image detail the board can provide.
Measured against everything we stock in Single-Board Computers & Dev Kits, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

The 160° field of view captures a very wide scene, useful for navigation or monitoring large areas, though objects appear smaller than with a narrower lens.
The 1 MP global shutter reads the full 1280 × 800 frame at once, so fast motion is frozen without the rolling-shutter distortion that skews moving edges.
The board plugs straight into Raspberry Pi 4B, 3B+, 3A+, 3B, 2B, B+ and A+; Zero and Zero 2 W need an extra FPC cable.
