Tiny RP2040 development board with an onboard Ethernet port and castellated holes for embedded integration
The LORDWORLD RP2040-ETH is a tiny development board built around the RP2040 dual-core microcontroller. It adds a wired Ethernet port for reliable network connectivity in embedded projects. Castellated holes with immersion gold allow direct soldering onto a host PCB or use with standard headers. The board targets makers and engineers who need a small Ethernet-enabled controller.
The single specification that determines fit is the integrated Ethernet interface, which supports TCP server, TCP client, UDP server and UDP communication modes. This provides a hardwired network link without relying on Wi-Fi or external modules. The RP2040 core handles the protocol stack while the PHY manages the physical layer.
The board draws power and provides a serial console through its USB-C connector. Castellated pads let you embed the module directly into a custom PCB, freeing up board space compared to a separate Ethernet shield. Software development is supported in C/C++, MicroPython and Arduino with SDKs, tutorials and example code supplied. Buyers who need wireless connectivity or additional GPIO headers not exposed on this module should look elsewhere.

The dual-core 2040 runs C/C++, MicroPython and Arduino code, handling TCP server, TCP client, UDP server and UDP traffic on the wired Ethernet port.
The board provides a single Ethernet port supporting TCP server, TCP client, UDP server and UDP modes; throughput is limited by the 2040 microcontroller and the physical link.
Castellated holes with immersion gold finish are designed for reflow soldering directly onto a host PCB.
