SFF-8654 8X adapter for PCIe expansion

This adapter connects a motherboard with detachable PCIe channels to a PCIe 16X device through an SFF-8654 8X 74Pin interface. It is intended for builders adding a GPU, SSD or other expansion card to small hosts, desktops or laptops that expose the Slimline connector.

ATX 24Pin and 6Pin power inputs

The board includes an ATX 24Pin connector and a PCIe 6Pin port that supplies 12V power to the attached card. The onboard switch controls PCIe power delivery, and the adapter requires a motherboard capable of bifurcation; without signal splitting only one device is recognised.

Internal installation with fixing holes

The converter mounts internally using the provided fixing holes and plugs directly into the SFF-8654 8X slot and the PCIe 16X socket. Compatibility is limited to platforms with detachable PCIe lanes, and an optional cable is needed to reach external devices.
