Xbox One headset adapter

This adapter lets you connect any stereo headset with a 3.5 mm CTIA plug to an Xbox One controller. It works with Xbox One, One S, One X, Elite Series 1, Elite Series 2, Series S and Series X controllers. No console or receiver connection is required, just plug it into the controller.

Replaces proprietary chat headsets

The adapter upgrades from single-ear chat headsets that only fit the original controller port. The jump is worth it when you already own a standard 3.5 mm gaming headset and want game audio and chat through one cable. It does not add wireless capability or surround sound processing.

Limited to CTIA 3.5 mm standard

The 3.5 mm jack follows the CTIA pinout, so headsets using the older OMTP standard will not work correctly without a separate converter. Audio quality depends entirely on the connected headset and the controller's built-in DAC. The adapter cannot improve the controller's maximum output level or bit depth.
