What this cable does
The LORDWORLD USB 3.1 Type-C to Type-A OTG cable connects a USB Type-A peripheral to a USB Type-C host such as a laptop, tablet or phone. It supports data transfer up to 10 Gbps and can deliver up to 15 W of power at 5 V 3 A when used with a compatible host and device. The 13 cm flat FPC design is lightweight and flexible for daily carry.
Direction and speed limits
The Type-C female connector must be the host side and the Type-A female connector must be the target device; the cable cannot be reversed. It is compliant with USB 3.1, USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and USB 1.1, falling back to 5 Gbps, 480 Mbps or 1.5 Mbps depending on the connected equipment. Fast charging only works when both the host port and the attached device support 5 V 3 A output.
Check your host port first
Before ordering, verify that your Type-C port acts as a USB host with OTG support and can supply up to 5 V 3 A if you need the full 15 W charging capability. The cable will not function if the Type-C side is connected to a peripheral or a port that only accepts power. Ensure the device you plug into the Type-A side is a standard USB target device.

Questions about this item
Should I pick the 13 cm length or a longer one for my setup?
The cable is 13 cm long; choose it when you need a short, tidy link between a Type-C host and a Type-A peripheral, and choose a longer cable only if the extra reach is necessary.
What does the 10 Gbps rating mean when I plug in a USB 3.1 drive?
It indicates the maximum theoretical throughput; real-world speed will be limited by the drive, the host controller and the 13 cm cable's signal quality.
Does the USB 3.1 Type-C female port cap power delivery at 15 W?
Yes, the cable supports up to 5 V at 3 A, giving a 15 W peak when both the power source and the connected device negotiate that level.
