Hub with UHS-II card reader
This USB 3.2 Gen 2 hub adds three 10 Gbps USB-A ports and a dual-slot UHS-II SD/TF 4.0 reader to laptops, tablets and phones. It ships with both USB-C and USB-A host connectors so it works on almost any computer or mobile device. The aluminium case aids heat dissipation during extended transfers.
Sustained transfer behaviour
The SD reader reaches an actual 270 MB/s in testing against a theoretical 312 MB/s ceiling. An optional 4.5 W USB-C power input lets the hub maintain stable operation when several bus-powered drives are attached simultaneously. Without external power the hub runs from the host port alone.
Check your host port and power needs
Verify that your device offers a USB-C or USB-A port compatible with USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt to obtain the 10 Gbps link speed. The hub does not accept USB-C Power Delivery adapters for laptop charging pass-through. Plan for the 4.5 W auxiliary input if you intend to connect multiple external hard drives.
