Replaces lost or damaged original cables

This cable restores OTG functionality when the original lead is missing or worn out. The upgrade is worthwhile if the existing cable no longer maintains a reliable data connection or has been misplaced. It is not suited for devices outside the listed HiBy range or for applications needing a different USB protocol.

Questions about this item

Does the USB-C plug on this OTG cable fit directly into the USB-C port on my HiBy FC3 headphone amplifier?

Yes, the cable is made specifically for the HiBy FC1, FC3, FC4, FD1 and FD3 amplifiers, so the USB-C connector mates directly with the port on those models.

Do I need to enable any setting on the HiBy FD1 before the OTG cable will recognise a USB flash drive?

No, the HiBy FD1 detects the OTG connection automatically; just insert the cable and the storage device, then browse files from the player's menu.
