Black rectangular adapter with USB-C female port and 4.8x1.7mm DC barrel output

LORDWORLD

LORDWORLD USB-C to DC 4.8x1.7mm PD 65W Trigger Adapter

SKU CH-J7KM-AENWY

A 4.8×1.7 mm DC trigger adapter that draws 65 W from a USB-C charger to deliver 18-20 V laptop power

  • Charge laptops from a 65W USB-C charger
  • Built-in PD trigger activates 18-20V output
  • 8×1.7mm barrel fits many laptop DC ports
  • Input accepts any 65W Type-C power source
  • Output limited to 18-20V — no 5V support

Compact USB-C PD trigger adapter

The LORDWORLD adapter converts a 65 W USB-C charger into an 18-20 V DC source for laptops that use a 4.8x1.7 mm barrel jack. It suits owners of compatible ultrabooks who want to replace a bulky proprietary brick with a single GaN charger.

Sustained 65 W pass-through behaviour

The built-in PD emulator negotiates a fixed 18-20 V contract and maintains it continuously while the charger can supply the requested power. Output drops if the source cannot sustain 65 W, so the adapter is reliable only when paired with a suitably rated supply.

Replaces a dedicated 18-20 V barrel charger

It eliminates the original laptop power brick for users who already carry a 65 W USB-C charger. The jump is not worthwhile for devices that need 5 V or 9 V profiles, higher wattage, or a different barrel size.

Questions about this item

Does the adapter get warm when powering a laptop all day?

The adapter passes up to 65 W through a built-in PD trigger; it has no active cooling, so expect some warmth under continuous load.

What charger must I already own for this to work?

You need a USB-C charger that can deliver at least 65 W and supports 18 V or 20 V PDO profiles.

Will this work with my older laptop that uses a 4.8×1.7 mm barrel jack?

Yes, the output plug is 4.8×1.7 mm and supplies 18 V or 20 V, matching laptops that require that connector and voltage.
