Compact Platinum Steel Cabinet

The Lorell 79135 is a three-drawer steel file cabinet finished in platinum. Its 15-inch width suits tight office corners or home workspaces. The unit arrives fully assembled so it is ready for immediate use. Casual styling blends with a variety of décor schemes.

Ball-Bearing Drawer Limits

Drawers glide on ball-bearing suspension for smooth extension. Steel construction supports daily filing but the 15-inch frame restricts storage to letter-width folders. Heavy loads may test the slide mechanism over time. No locking feature is included in the specification.

Three-Drawer Capacity Headroom

Three drawers organise active paperwork with moderate headroom for growth. The 69-pound weight anchors the cabinet against tipping when a single drawer opens. Bulky archive boxes exceed the shallow depth. Users needing legal-size filing or higher volume should consider wider units.

Questions about this item

Is the 15" width the only size available for the Lorell 79135?

The 79135 is offered in a single 15" width; other Lorell cabinets may use different dimensions but this model does not.

What does the 69 lb weight mean for moving the cabinet once it is in place?

At 69 lb the unit is heavy enough to stay stable when drawers are fully extended, yet light enough for two people to reposition without equipment.

How does the ball-bearing suspension affect daily drawer operation?

Ball-bearing slides let each drawer open and close smoothly with full extension, reducing sticking even when the drawer is heavily loaded.
