Kids Backpack for Ages 3 to 8

This Lowepro backpack measures 11.5 by 4.3 by 15 inches and fits a 15 inch laptop. The 600D polyester shell resists water and weighs .259 kilograms. It is designed for preschool and kindergarten children who need a lightweight daypack for school supplies, toys and snacks.

Easy to Adjust and Use

Widened padded shoulder straps with adjustable buckles let the bag fit a growing child quickly. Smooth electroplated double zippers open the main compartment without snagging. Side pockets hold a water bottle or umbrella for quick access. The soft shell construction means the bag can deform if overstuffed with heavy items.

Limited to Light Daily Loads

The 12 ounce weight and soft shell keep the pack comfortable but restrict how much gear it can support. The 15 inch laptop sleeve protects a device yet leaves little room for larger binders. Water resistant coating handles light rain but is not rated for heavy downpours or submersion. Buyers who need a structured frame or high capacity storage should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How can I check the water-resistant coating is working after first use?

After light rain or a splash, open the main compartment and side pockets; the 600D polyester interior should stay dry and the contents should show no damp spots.

What comes in the box and what must I buy separately?

The box contains the beige car-cartoon backpack with padded adjustable straps, double side pockets and smooth electroplated zippers; no laptop sleeve, rain cover or water bottle is included.

Which capacity fits a 15 inch device for a child aged 3 to 8?

The single 15-inch laptop compartment measuring 11.5 x 4.3 x 15 inches and weighing 0.259 kg is the only size offered, so it covers the stated screen size and age range.
