18-pack vacuum bags with rechargeable pump

The Lowepro NT-VB001 set provides 18 nylon compression bags in three sizes and a cordless pump powered by an 1850 mAh battery. It is designed for travellers who want to reduce luggage volume by up to 80 percent and keep clothing protected from dust and moisture during trips or home storage.

Before ordering check your luggage dimensions

The largest bag measures 21.3 by 27.6 inches, the medium 18.5 by 23.6 inches and the small 15.8 by 19.7 inches. Ensure your suitcase or carry-on can accommodate the sizes you plan to use and that you have a USB Type-C source to recharge the pump between trips.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

The rechargeable pump runs on a built-in 1850 mAh battery that fully charges in 1.5 hours and delivers over 100 compressions per charge at 4500 Pa suction. Operation is quiet and produces no noticeable heat, so repacking in a hotel room or at home does not disturb others or require a mains outlet.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and is anything else needed to start compressing bags?

The set includes 18 vacuum bags in three sizes — small 15.8 by 19.7 inches, medium 18.5 by 23.6 inches and large 21.3 by 27.6 inches — plus a rechargeable pump with a built-in 1850 mAh battery and a Type-C charging cable. No separate pump or batteries are required.

Which bag sizes should I pick for a carry-on versus a large suitcase?

The 18-pack is pre-assorted with six bags of each size. Use the small bags for T-shirts and underwear in a carry-on, the medium bags for jackets and sweaters in a checked bag, and the large bags for bulky items such as blankets or pillows when you need maximum space saving.

What does the 4500 Pa suction rating mean when I am packing for a trip?

The pump delivers 4500 Pa suction that compresses each bag in seconds and can achieve up to 80 percent volume reduction. A full charge takes 1.5 hours and provides over 100 compressions, so you can pack and repack multiple times on a single charge.
