15-inch dinosaur backpack

This beige polyester daypack fits a 15-inch laptop or standard folder and is sized for children aged four to seven. Water-resistant 900D fabric and reinforced zippers withstand daily school use. Padded S-shaped shoulder straps with a breathable mesh back panel and an adjustable chest strap keep the load balanced on small shoulders. The bag weighs 0.54 kilograms.

Upgrade from smaller preschool packs

The 15-inch main compartment accepts flat 9x12 folders, a lunchbox and a water bottle without bending corners. An insulated front pocket lined with food-safe PEVA holds bento boxes up to 8.5 by 6.5 by 2 inches and contains leaks from crushed juice boxes. This step up is worth it when a child starts carrying full-size folders and needs dedicated snack storage.

Limits of the soft-shell polyester design

The single 15-inch sleeve offers no rigid frame or internal dividers, so heavier textbooks can shift against the back. Water-resistant fabric repels light rain but is not waterproof under sustained downpour or submersion. The chest strap adjusts for fit but cannot transfer load to a hip belt because none is included. Buyers who need a structured internal frame or fully waterproof construction should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 15 inch laptop compartment accept a standard 9x12 inch folder?

Yes, the 15 inch compartment fits a standard 9x12 inch folder flat without bending the corners.

How do I adjust the chest strap so the bag stays balanced while my child runs?

Slide the chest strap up or down the padded S-shaped shoulder straps until it sits comfortably across the chest, then buckle it to keep the load stable during active play.

How do I clean the insulated front pocket after a spilled drink?

Wipe the food-safe PEVA lining with a damp cloth; the leak-resistant barrier contains spills so they do not reach the main compartment.
