Professional chef knife backpack

The Lowepro Wynit CS-1007 is a medium-sized polyester bag built for culinary professionals and students who transport full tool kits. It holds up to 16 knives with blades up to 10 inches plus a honing rod and cleaver in dedicated slots. Over 30 pockets organise spices, pens and personal accessories. A hidden rear sleeve fits a tablet or notebook up to 15 inches. Water-resistant 600D material and double stitching handle daily kitchen wear.

Compatibility checklist

Verify that your longest knife does not exceed 10 inches. Confirm you need capacity for 16 blades plus rod and cleaver rather than a smaller roll. Ensure a 15-inch tablet sleeve meets your device size. Check that the 1.969 kg empty weight is acceptable for your commute. The bag is not intended for children 12 and under.

Build integration

Adjustable padded shoulder straps distribute the load for hands-free carry between stations. Individual panels with safety straps keep blades separated and secure while freeing counter space. Mesh pouches and zippered compartments consolidate spices, pens and gadgets so extra pouches are unnecessary. The solid Night Black finish suits professional kitchens and culinary classrooms alike.

Questions about this item

Does the bag include the knives and honing rod, or must I supply them?

The bag holds up to 16 knives plus a honing rod in dedicated slots; knives and rod are not included and must be purchased separately.

Should I choose the CS-1007 model or a different capacity for a 15-inch tablet?

The CS-1007 fits a 15-inch tablet in its hidden back pocket and carries 16 knives, so it covers both needs in one size.

How does the 1.969 kg weight feel when the bag is loaded with 16 knives and a tablet?

The empty bag weighs 1.969 kg; with 16 knives and a tablet the total load will be noticeably heavier but the padded adjustable straps are designed to distribute that weight comfortably.
