Compact iOS-only tracker

This LOWRANCE magnetic GPS tracker uses Apple's Find My network to locate vehicles, keys, luggage or pet collars. It requires an iPhone or iPad running iOS and has no Android support. The device operates without a SIM card or monthly subscription fee.

Works exclusively with Find My

The single specification that decides compatibility is the Apple Find My protocol over Bluetooth. If the buyer does not use an iOS device, the tracker cannot be paired or located. No other mapping service or platform is supported.

Magnetic mount with CR2032 cell

A strong magnet and waterproof shell let you press the unit onto any steel surface in seconds. The installed CR2032 battery is rated for 8760 hours of operation and is user-replaceable. The main installation error is placing the tracker where metal blocks the Bluetooth signal.

Questions about this item

What does the 12-channel specification mean for real-world tracking?

The 12 channels allow the receiver to lock onto multiple satellites simultaneously, which improves position accuracy and reduces the time needed to get a first fix when the tracker is moved.

How does the Bluetooth interface limit the tracking range in practice?

The tracker only communicates through the Apple Find My network via Bluetooth, so it relies on nearby iOS devices to relay its location; it has no independent cellular or satellite link.

What is needed to mount this unit on a vehicle?

A built-in magnetic shell attaches directly to any steel surface underneath the car, and the waterproof casing allows it to stay in place during rain.
