Spacious 8-Person Family Shelter

This Loyeahcamp dome tent accommodates up to eight people within a 14 by 8 foot floor area and a 6 foot peak height. Two internal curtains divide the interior into three separate rooms for sleeping privacy. The layout fits eight sleeping bags or three queen-size air mattresses for family camping trips.

Setup Requirements And Weight

The semi-freestanding structure relies on 11.5 mm and 9.5 mm fiberglass poles for stability. At 10.5 lb the packed tent is manageable for car camping but requires a vehicle with adequate cargo space. Stakes and guylines are essential to secure the footprint and tension the rainfly in windy conditions.

Weather Protection And Airflow

Polyester fabric with a PU 2000 mm coating keeps the interior dry during rain while high-standard zippers seal doors and windows smoothly. Large mesh panels on the roof, doors and windows promote cross-ventilation and provide panoramic views. The integrated porch area adds covered storage space for gear and muddy boots.
