Collapsible Microwave Splatter Cover

The LSR LORESO SUP-MWSPC90GR is an 11 inch collapsible dome that fits round plates and bowls from 6 to 10 inches in diameter. It is designed for microwave use only and keeps the appliance interior clean by containing splatter. The cover combines a borosilicate glass top with a flexible grey silicone rim and a heat-resistant handle. It is sold new as a single unit.

Capacity and Storage Headroom

The expanded dome stands 5 inches tall, giving enough clearance for stacked leftovers or taller bowls while the vents release steam for even heating. When collapsed the cover lies flat at just 0.1 inch thick so it fits in a shallow drawer or on a crowded shelf. It handles reheating tasks for standard dinner plates but cannot accommodate extra-large serving dishes over 10 inches wide.

Microwave-Only Temperature Rating

Both the borosilicate glass and the silicone components withstand 450°F, yet the product is explicitly rated for microwave use only and must not be used in conventional ovens or on grills. The clear glass top lets you monitor food without lifting the lid while the ergonomic silicone knob stays cool to the touch. The entire cover is dishwasher safe and resists stains and odours from tomato sauce or curry.

Questions about this item

Will the 11 in cover fit the 10 in dinner plates I already use?

Yes, the 11 in diameter covers round plates and bowls from 6 in to 10 in, so your existing plates fit underneath.

How can I check the vents are releasing steam during heating?

Watch through the clear borosilicate glass top; you will see steam escape through the built-in vents while food stays moist.

Does the package include the collapsible silicone dome and glass top as one piece, or do I buy the handle separately?

The cover ships as a single unit — borosilicate glass top, vented silicone dome and heat-resistant handle are already assembled.
