Five-pack nylon-coated twist-lock key rings

This set contains five black key rings with a twist-lock mechanism. Each ring measures 1-5/8 inches in diameter and the overall extended length is five inches. The nylon coating protects surfaces from scratches while the galvanised steel core resists corrosion. They are sold new in a five-piece package.

Quiet operation and minimal power draw

The rings have no moving parts that generate noise or consume electricity. Normal use is completely silent and requires no power source. The nylon coating reduces metal-on-metal contact sounds when keys shift. There are no thermal considerations for this passive hardware.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the 1-5/8 inch nylon-coated twist lock ring to my keys without bending the galvanized steel?

Align the key with the 5-inch extended opening, twist the lock mechanism fully open, slide the key onto the ring, then twist the lock closed until it clicks securely.

When should I replace the nylon coating on these 5-inch extended length key rings?

Replace the rings when the black nylon coating shows visible wear, cracking, or peeling that exposes the galvanized steel underneath to prevent corrosion.
