Cooling Pad for 12-15.6 Inch Laptops

The Luisport cooling pad fits notebooks from 12 to 15.6 inches and targets users who need lower surface temperatures during long sessions. Two 5.1 inch fans move air across the base while a detachable baffle keeps the device from sliding. It draws power from a laptop USB port and adds two pass-through ports for peripherals.

Adjustable Stand With Dual Fans

Four height settings raise the rear between 2.3 and 5.1 centimetres, creating angles from 9 to 28 degrees for typing comfort. The fans spin between 800 and 2000 RPM at 5 volts and 0.22 amps, producing 5 to 15 dB of noise with blue LED illumination at 10 lumens. A 60 centimetre USB cable connects the unit to the host machine.

USB-Powered Cooling Limits

Because the pad draws all power from a single 5 volt USB connection, total current is capped at 0.22 amps for both fans and the two downstream ports. High-draw peripherals such as external drives may exceed this budget and cause instability. The lightweight 1.65 pound frame folds flat for transport but offers no independent power option for heavier cooling loads.

Questions about this item

What USB standard do the two ports on this cooling pad use, and what does that limit in practice?

The pad provides two USB 2.0 ports running at 5 V and 0.22 A each; one port connects the pad to the laptop, the other can run a low-power device such as a mouse or keyboard.

What laptop dimensions and weight can the adjustable stand and non-slip baffle actually support?

The stand fits laptops from 12 to 15.6 inches, adjusts from 2.3 to 5.1 cm high at 9 to 28 degrees, and the detachable baffle holds the notebook in place.

How is the cooling pad powered and set up, and which step do buyers often miss?

Plug the 60 cm USB cable into the laptop; the pad draws 5 V at 0.22 A, then use the speed dial to set the dual 12.8 cm fans between 800 and 2000 RPM — buyers often forget to adjust the fan speed after connecting.
