13-in-1 USB-C Dock with Wireless Charging

The LUOM BXS13IN1 docking station adds thirteen ports to a single Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C connection. It supplies 4K HDMI output, VGA, Gigabit Ethernet, three USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, USB-C data ports, SD and microSD card readers, a 3.5 mm audio jack and a 100 W Power Delivery pass-through port. A built-in wireless charging pad delivers up to 10 W for compatible phones.

Suits users who need legacy video

Creators and office workers who must drive an HDMI display at 4K 30 Hz or a VGA projector at 1080p 60 Hz while keeping a stable RJ45 link will find every necessary port in one silver enclosure. Buyers whose laptops lack Thunderbolt 3 or a full-feature USB-C port with video and PD support cannot use the dock's display or charging functions.

100 W Power Delivery pass-through decides fit

The single USB-C PD input accepts up to 100 W and forwards charging power to the host laptop while the hub operates. If the connected device requires more than 100 W or does not support USB-C Power Delivery, the dock cannot charge it and a separate power supply remains necessary.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the model with HDMI, VGA and DVI or the one with dual HDMI?

This unit provides one HDMI port and one VGA port; there is no DVI or second HDMI on this model.

What resolution will I actually get on an external monitor through the HDMI port?

The HDMI output supports up to 4K at 30 Hz or 1080p at 60 Hz, so a 4K display will run at 30 Hz maximum.

Does the USB-C port on the dock carry Thunderbolt 3 speeds or only USB 3.0?

The dock connects via Thunderbolt 3, but its USB-C data port runs at USB 2.0 speed, not Thunderbolt bandwidth.
