14-in-1 USB-C Dock with Triple Display

The LUOM BXS14IN1 expands a single USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port into fourteen connections. It provides dual 4K HDMI, VGA, Gigabit Ethernet, five USB 3.0 Type-A ports, SD and TF card slots, a 3.5 mm audio jack, 100 W Power Delivery pass-through and a 10 W wireless charging pad. The aluminium-and-ABS housing measures 8.23 by 3.82 by 1.06 inches and includes a 158 mm tethered cable.

Suits multi-monitor users needing legacy video

Professionals who run two external displays at 4K 30 Hz or 1080p 60 Hz alongside a VGA projector will find the triple-output layout convenient. The five USB 3.0 ports and card readers handle peripherals and media offload in one hub. Buyers whose laptops lack DisplayPort Alt Mode or Thunderbolt 3 cannot use the video outputs. Users requiring 4K 60 Hz on both HDMI ports or a second USB-C video channel should look elsewhere.

Handles dual 4K 30 Hz and five peripherals

Two HDMI ports drive 3840 by 2160 at 30 Hz each; adding VGA forces all video to 1080p. The Gigabit Ethernet port negotiates at 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps. Five USB 3.0 ports share 5 Gbps bandwidth for drives and accessories. SD and TF slots operate at USB 2.0 speeds. The 100 W PD input keeps the host charged while the wireless pad delivers up to 10 W to compatible phones.

Questions about this item

Does my laptop need a Thunderbolt 3 port for this dock to work?

It works with any USB-C port that supports DP Alt Mode, not only Thunderbolt 3.

Will the VGA output still show 1080p when I also use an HDMI display?

Yes, HDMI and VGA can run simultaneously and both are limited to 1080p in that mode.

How do I know the Gigabit Ethernet link is running at full speed after I plug in?

Check your OS network status; it should report a 1000 Mbps connection when the dock is active.
