15-in-1 USB-C Docking Station

The LUOM BXS15IN1 expands a single USB-C port into fifteen connections including HDMI, VGA, Gigabit Ethernet, card readers, audio and multiple USB ports. It supports Thunderbolt 3 hosts and a wide range of MacBook, iMac, Surface and Chromebook models listed by the supplier. The silver aluminium enclosure measures 8.23 by 3.82 by 1.06 inches and weighs 10 ounces. Plug-and-play operation requires no driver installation.

Build integration and port layout

One USB-C upstream link carries video, data, network and up to 100 W of pass-through power delivery to the host laptop. Three USB 3.0 Type-A ports run at 5 Gbps for fast storage, while four USB 2.0 Type-A ports handle peripherals at 480 Mbps. SD and TF card slots accept camera media, and a 3.5 mm jack adds analogue audio. The RJ45 port provides wired networking without using a separate adapter.

Thermals noise and power

The hub draws operating power from the host or the PD supply and stays cool during typical office workloads with no moving parts. Wireless charging delivers 5 W, 7.5 W or 10 W to compatible phones placed on the designated area. All fifteen ports can be active simultaneously while the unit remains silent. Power delivery is limited to the host laptop; the downstream USB-C port does not charge other devices.

Questions about this item

Will the 4K HDMI output drop to 1080p when I also drive the VGA port?

Yes, when both HDMI and VGA are active each output runs at 1080p; single HDMI alone reaches 4K at 30 Hz.

Does the hub get hot or noisy during all-day use with Ethernet and three USB 3.0 devices attached?

The aluminium chassis runs warm but stays silent because there is no fan; power draw is limited to the host laptop's USB-C PD budget.

My laptop only has a plain USB-C port — will the Gigabit Ethernet and PD charging still work?

The hub requires a USB-C port that supports video alt-mode and power delivery; a data-only USB-C port will not drive the displays or pass-through charge.
