Purpose & Audience

The LUOM C-12 is a wired optical gaming mouse with twelve programmable buttons and a maximum resolution of 4000 DPI. It is built for right-handed users who prefer a palm or claw grip and want extensive button mapping for MMO or MOBA titles. Buyers who need a lightweight ambidextrous design or wireless freedom should look elsewhere.

Build & Connectivity

A braided fibre cable measuring six feet terminates in a gold-plated USB connector for reliable signal transfer. The contoured body includes eight internal weights that can be added or removed to adjust balance. Smooth PTFE feet provide low-friction glide, and the twelve buttons include a side cluster of six thumb keys plus a dedicated triple-click fire button on the right flank.

Thermals Noise Power

As a passive USB peripheral the mouse draws minimal power and produces no audible noise or measurable heat during normal operation. The optical sensor switches between four DPI steps (1000, 1500, 2000, 4000) with a polling rate adjustable from 125 to 1000 Hz. LED lighting cycles through seven colours in a breathing pattern without affecting power draw.

Questions about this item

What does the USB interface limit the polling rate to?

The USB connection supports a polling rate adjustable between 125 and 1000 Hz.

What physical space and port does the mouse need?

It requires a free USB port and suits a right-handed palm or claw grip with its large contoured body.

How do you set up the 12 programmable buttons and what step is often missed?

Install the driver software, assign each of the 12 buttons, then save the profile to the mouse; skipping the save step leaves buttons unmapped.
