Purpose & audience

The LUOM C-12 is a wired gaming mouse built for right-handed players who use a palm or claw grip. It offers twelve programmable buttons and four selectable DPI levels ranging from 1000 to 4000, making it suited to MMO or MOBA titles that demand quick access to many commands. Office users can also assign the extra buttons to productivity shortcuts.

Sustained-load behaviour

The optical sensor tracks at up to 4000 DPI with a polling rate adjustable between 125 and 1000 Hz, so cursor response remains consistent during long sessions. Eight internal weights let you tune the mass to your preference, while the PTFE feet maintain low friction across extended play. A dedicated fire button on the right side delivers a triple-click with one press for rapid in-game actions.

Thermals, noise & power

As a passive USB peripheral the mouse draws minimal power and generates no measurable heat or fan noise. The 6-foot braided cable with a gold-plated connector resists wear and keeps signal integrity stable. Seven-colour breathing LED lighting adds visual flair without affecting thermal output or power consumption.

Questions about this item

Does the 125 to 1000 Hz polling rate affect heat or power draw during all-day use?

The mouse draws power only from the USB port with no external supply, so heat and power consumption stay low even at the 1000 Hz setting.

What must I already own to use the 12 programmable buttons and 4000 DPI settings?

A free USB port and a Windows or Mac system that can run the configuration software are required.

Will the optical sensor and USB interface work reliably on a Windows XP or Vista machine I still keep?

Yes, the supplier lists Windows XP, Vista, 2000 and later versions as supported operating systems.
