Ergonomic Laptop Stand 10-15.6 Inches

The LUOM C08LS is a silver aluminium riser designed for notebooks from 10 to 15.6 inches. It raises the screen by 6 inches to create an eye-level viewing position that reduces neck and shoulder strain. The open-back frame promotes passive airflow around the device to help dissipate heat during extended sessions. Rubber pads on the contact points grip the laptop and prevent the stand from sliding on the desk.

Fits Desks Without Power or Fans

The stand requires no external power, cables or software because it uses only passive convection and elevation. Its footprint of 12.68 by 8.03 inches fits on most desks, tables or kitchen counters while leaving room for a separate keyboard and mouse. Weighing 2.24 pounds, it is light enough to move between rooms yet rigid enough to hold a 15.6-inch laptop without wobble. No fan noise or USB port is needed.

Passive Cooling Under Continuous Load

Because the C08LS has no fans, cooling performance depends entirely on ambient airflow and the laptop's own exhaust design. During long workloads the aluminium body acts as a modest heat spreader, but it cannot actively pull hot air away from high-performance components. Sustained heavy loads may still cause the notebook to throttle if its internal cooling is insufficient. Users who need forced-air cooling should consider an active pad instead.

Questions about this item

Does the open-back design keep a 15.6-inch laptop cool during long sessions?

The aluminium frame and open back give continuous passive airflow, so heat escapes without any fans to fail or make noise.

How much noise or heat does the stand itself add after hours of use?

It adds none — there are no fans, no motors and no power draw, so the stand stays silent and at room temperature.

What must I already have on my desk for this stand to hold my laptop securely?

A flat surface; the rubber feet grip the desk while the rubberised holder arms grip any 10-to-15.6-inch laptop.
