Ergonomic aluminium riser for 10 to 15.6 inch

The LUOM C08LS-Silver stand elevates notebooks up to 15.6 inches and supports devices weighing up to 8.8 lbs. Its open aluminium frame promotes passive airflow while rubber pads grip the chassis securely. The design suits home offices, hot-desking setups and extended typing sessions where a fixed viewing angle reduces neck strain.

Passive cooling and silent operation

With no fans fitted the stand adds zero noise and draws no power. The open back allows convection currents to carry heat away from the laptop base during normal office workloads. Rubber contact points prevent scratches and keep the device stable on smooth desks without vibration or rattling.

Sustained-load thermal behaviour

Under prolonged heavy loads the stand relies entirely on the laptop’s own cooling system and natural convection through the open frame. It does not actively lower temperatures beyond what the chassis can exhaust on a flat surface. Users running continuous render or compile jobs should monitor core clocks and consider supplemental active cooling if throttling appears.

Questions about this item

How do I set up the LUOM C08LS stand for a 15.6-inch laptop without it wobbling?

Place the stand on a flat surface, align the laptop centred on the rubber pads so its weight rests evenly across the aluminium frame, and ensure the open back faces rearward for airflow.

Will the rubber pads on the C08LS need replacing after daily use?

The silicone pads grip the chassis and desk; they can be wiped clean and typically last the life of the stand unless torn or hardened.

At what weight does the C08LS aluminium frame start to flex during long sessions?

The stand is rated for 8.8 lbs, so a 15.6-inch notebook well below that limit will not cause noticeable flex during extended use.
