Dual-mode connectivity

The LUOM F-18 operates as a wired or wireless gaming mouse, switching between a 2.4 GHz USB receiver and a 1.5 metre USB cable without any driver installation. An integrated rechargeable battery powers the wireless mode, while the wired connection draws power directly from the host port. This plug-and-play flexibility suits gamers who move between desktop and laptop setups or prefer a cable-free desk for competitive play.

Sustained tracking performance

The optical sensor offers six fixed DPI steps from 600 to 3200, selectable via a dedicated switch, and maintains a 500 Hz report rate in both wired and wireless modes. Maximum acceleration is rated at 20G, so rapid flicks stay consistent during extended sessions. The 250 Hz lower polling option is available for reduced system load, though the higher rate ensures minimal latency across long matches without signal degradation.

Ergonomic right-hand build

A contoured palm and claw grip shape with a skin-friendly coating reduces fatigue during prolonged use, while the seven programmable buttons are positioned for quick thumb and index access. The 30 metre wireless range covers typical room-scale setups, and the 1.5 metre cable reaches rear-panel ports without strain. The mouse requires a free USB port and supports Windows from 2000 through 10 plus Mac OS 9 and later.

Questions about this item

How long does the integrated rechargeable battery last when the F-18 runs wirelessly all day?

The mouse uses a built-in non-removable battery charged via the 1.5 m USB cable; no battery-life figure is published, so plan to plug it in during breaks or switch to wired mode.

What must I already have to use the F-18 in either wireless or wired mode?

A free USB port for the 2.4 GHz receiver in wireless mode, or the same port for the 1.5 m cable in wired mode; no driver installation is required.

Will the 2.4 GHz dongle interfere with older USB 2.0 peripherals I keep on the same hub?

The receiver operates on a 2.4 GHz link with a 500 Hz report rate and works alongside standard USB 2.0 devices without conflict.
