What this stand is and who uses it

The LUOM N3 is an aluminium laptop stand finished in black. It supports devices up to 15.6 inches and folds to 10 x 1.7 x 0.7 inches for travel. Weighing .6 lbs, it includes a storage bag and ten non-slip rubber pads. The open base uses the aluminium body as a passive heat sink to improve airflow.

Who it suits and who should look elsewhere

This stand suits mobile workers who want adjustable viewing angles at a desk, on a sofa or while travelling. It also holds phones, tablets and e-readers from 6 to 12.9 inches. Buyers who need active cooling fans, built-in USB hubs or a fixed desktop riser for heavier 16-inch-plus laptops should consider other designs.

Check before you order

Verify that your laptop fits the 15.6-inch maximum support size and that the folded dimensions suit your bag. Confirm the 88-lb load rating covers your device plus any dock or monitor arm you might add. Ensure a flat surface is available for the rubber pads to grip securely.
