It accepts three 4K@60Hz sources, passes one through to a monitor at the same rate and sends a 2160p30 or 1080p60 stream to a PC, Mac or Linux machine via USB 3.0. A mic input and headphone jack handle party chat or commentary.

The spec that decides fit

You need three HDMI sources running at 4K@60Hz that you want to switch between and capture simultaneously; the box only outputs 2160p30 over USB, so 4K@60Hz recording is not possible. It also requires a free USB 3.0 port and works driver-free on Windows, Mac and Linux. If you only have one source or need 4K@60Hz capture, this is not the right unit.
