Two-metre braided cable

The LUOM PQ057 is a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A to Type-C cable supplied as a two-pack. Each cable measures 6.6 ft and supports 10 Gbps data transfer plus 3 A, 60 W charging with a 56 kΩ resistor. It targets users who connect external SSDs, hard drives, tablets or phones to legacy USB-A ports.

Plug-and-play durability

Installation is simple plug-and-play with no drivers required. The double nylon braid and reinforced strain relief are rated for over 20 000 bends and 10 000 insertion cycles. Common issues arise only when the host charger or device lacks QC 3.0 support, limiting charge speed to 2.4 A.

Speed and power headroom

The 10 Gbps link moves large media libraries at up to 1 250 MB/s, comfortably handling 4K video offloads from external SSDs. Power delivery tops out at 60 W, so it charges phones, tablets and most ultraportables quickly but cannot drive larger laptops that demand 100 W.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the cable is delivering the full 10Gbps data rate after plugging it in?

Connect an external USB-C SSD to your computer and run a large file transfer; sustained speeds near 1250MB/s confirm the 10Gbps link is active.

What comes in the package and what must I provide separately?

The 2-pack includes two 6.6ft USB-A to USB-C braided cables; you must supply a QC 3.0 charger and a device that supports fast charging to reach 3A 60W.

Which version should I choose if I need both high-speed data and fast charging?

This PQ057 model provides 10Gbps transfer and 3A 60W QC 3.0 charging in a single cable, so no separate version is required.
