Built for external SSD workflows

Suits users needing 10 Gbps over USB-A

Buyers who want 10 Gbps data rates from a USB-A host will find the USB 3.2 Gen 2 rating meets that need. It is not for connecting two laptops together, nor for driving video output to a display. Users requiring longer reach than the supplied length or higher power delivery than 60 W should look elsewhere.

Handles 1250 MB/s transfers and 60 W charging

The cable moves large photo, video and music libraries at up to 1250 MB/s and delivers up to 3 A at 60 W with a QC 3.0 charger. A 56 kΩ resistor protects the USB-A port during negotiation. It does not support 100 W charging or Thunderbolt 3/4 speeds beyond the stated 10 Gbps limit.

Questions about this item

What USB port on my computer is needed for the 10Gbps transfer rate?

A USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port is required to reach the 10Gbps data rate; older ports will run at their native speeds.

Will this cable charge a laptop that needs 100W?

The cable delivers up to 60W at 3A, so it cannot supply the full 100W some laptops require.

How can I confirm the cable is running at 10Gbps after I plug it in?

Check the OS connection speed — it should report 10Gbps — and verify large-file transfers approach 1250MB/s.
