A 1.6 ft Thunderbolt cable delivering 80 Gbps data and up to 240 W charging for USB-C devices
Cable Length 1.6 Feet
This LUOM Thunderbolt 5 cable connects two USB-C ports with a reversible male-to-male design. It targets users who need the highest current USB4 Gen 3x2 bandwidth and 240W power delivery for demanding laptops, docks or eGPU enclosures. The 1.6ft length keeps the link short for signal integrity on the desk.
The cable carries up to 80Gbps bi-directional with USB4 Gen 3x2 hosts and supports PD 3.1 Extended Power Range at 48V 5A for 240W maximum charging. It steps down cleanly to 180W, 140W, 100W or 60W when the charger or device negotiates a lower contract. Video throughput reaches 16K at 60Hz, 8K at 120Hz or dual 8K at 60Hz with two cables.
A black jacketed assembly carries the Thunderbolt 5 branding and maintains backward compatibility with Thunderbolt 3 and 4 hosts. The reversible USB-C plugs insert either way up, and the bi-directional wiring means either end can face the host or the peripheral. No active electronics are mentioned, so the 1.6ft limit is the practical maximum for the rated speeds.

Other versions of this model
Yes, the cable is backwards compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and 4 devices, so it will connect your existing dock and laptop at their supported speeds.
Your MacBook's battery menu or System Report will show the charging wattage; with a 240W EPR PD 3.1 charger it should read up to 140W on that model.
Only the USB C to USB C cable is in the box; a 240W EPR PD 3.1 charger must be purchased separately to reach the maximum power rating.
