What the LUOM TSB01 is and who it suits

The LUOM TSB01 is a laptop cooling pad with four fans designed for devices from 11 to 17.3 inches. It suits users who want a portable stand that folds flat for storage and runs from a USB Type-C connection. Buyers needing a larger surface for 18-inch workstations or a built-in USB hub will not find those features here.

Practical limits of the USB Type-C power interface

The pad draws 0.6 A at 3 W across all four fans, so it relies on the host port to supply that current. Airflow is rated at 0.9 m/s and noise stays below 40 dB. If the laptop port cannot deliver 0.6 A continuously, fan speed will drop and cooling performance will fall below the stated level.

Installation ease and common issues

The foldable frame unfolds in seconds and the silicone pads grip the laptop without tools. The 190 mm square top fits most 11 to 17.3 inch models, but thicker gaming chassis may overhang the edges. The fixed Type-C cable is short, so the laptop must sit close to the power source; routing the cable under the stand can strain the connector over time.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the four-fan version for a 16" laptop?

The four-fan model weighs 460 g and supports devices up to 16", while the dual-fan version weighs 375 g. Both fit the 11–17.3" range, so pick the four-fan unit if you want maximum airflow for a larger notebook.

What does the 0.9 m/s airflow figure mean in daily use?

Each fan pushes air at 0.9 m/s, giving a combined flow that lowers surface temperatures during gaming or rendering while keeping noise below 40 dB.

How does the Type-C charging interface affect power delivery?

The stand draws 3 W at 0.6 A through its Type-C port, so any USB-C charger or laptop port rated for 5 V / 1 A will run all four fans without an extra adapter.
