LUOM TSB01 cooling pad for 11–17.3″ devices

The LUOM TSB01 is a USB-powered laptop cooling pad with four fans that deliver 0.9 m/s airflow while keeping noise under 40 dB. It suits owners of 11 to 17.3 inch notebooks or tablets who want a lightweight, foldable stand that can be carried in a bag. The aluminium-alloy and plastic frame weighs 460 g and measures 190 × 190 mm when open.

Upgrade from passive stands or single-fan pads

This pad replaces a flat plastic riser or a one-fan cooler that cannot move enough air for sustained loads. The jump is worth it when the laptop throttles during long sessions, when the bottom surface becomes uncomfortably hot, or when a quiet workspace demands noise below 40 dB. It draws only 3 W at 0.6 A from a Type-C port, so no extra power brick is needed.

Tool-free setup with Type-C power

Unfold the legs, set the desired height angle, place the device on the silicone grip pads and plug the Type-C cable into any USB port. The only common issue is forgetting to seat the cable fully, which leaves the fans unpowered. A second point to check is that the laptop’s own exhaust vents line up with the pad’s intake area; misalignment reduces the cooling benefit.

How do I power the four fans and which cable do I plug in?

Connect the supplied USB Type-C cable to any USB port; the four fans draw 0.6 A at 3 W total.

Do the fans need cleaning or replacement over time?
