WorldMap XXL desk coverage

The LUOM WorldMap XXL mouse pad spans 800×400×2mm, covering both keyboard and mouse in a single surface. A printed world-map design with standard time zones adds a reference element for international work or play. Natural rubber bonded to double-weave cloth creates a smooth glide for optical and laser sensors. Anti-fray stitching around the perimeter resists edge wear during long sessions.

Thermals noise and power

As a passive cloth-and-rubber mat, the pad generates no heat, draws no power and produces no audible noise. The 2mm thickness adds a thin cushion that insulates wrists from a cold desk without trapping warmth. Water-resistant fabric repels spills so liquid beads on the surface instead of soaking through to the rubber base. Cleaning requires only a damp cloth and a few seconds of wiping.

Upgrade context and limits

This XXL pad replaces smaller mats that force frequent mouse lifting or leave the keyboard on bare desk. Low-DPI gamers gain the uninterrupted sweep area needed for wide arcs without running out of space. Office users get a full-desk protector that keeps surfaces scratch-free and reduces keyboard vibration. Buyers who need a hard low-friction surface or a pad thinner than 2mm should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 800×400×2mm pad so it does not shift?

Unroll the pad on a clean, dry desk, align the rubber base flat against the surface, and press from the centre outward to remove air pockets — the anti-slip rubber bottom then holds the mat in place without adhesive.

What maintenance will the stitched-edge cloth surface need over time?

Wipe spills immediately with a damp cloth; the water-resistant fabric and anti-fraying stitched frame prevent liquid damage and edge wear, so only occasional gentle cleaning is required.

At what point does the 2mm thickness stop cushioning during long sessions?

The 2mm natural-rubber base compresses slightly under sustained wrist pressure, so after several hours of continuous use you may feel the desk firmness through the pad.
