Kid-Focused MP3 Player With Parental Controls
The Luoran M4S is a 4.0-inch touchscreen player designed for children and teenagers. It ships with 16 GB of internal storage and runs an Android-based system that comes pre-loaded with Spotify Kids, Spotify, Audible and HiBy Music. The device deliberately omits phone calls, messaging, games and social-media apps to keep the experience centred on music, audiobooks and e-books. A silicon case, wired earphones and a USB-C cable are included in the box.
Parental Controls Limit App Access And Usage Time
Parents can block or unblock any installed application, including the web browser, and the icon disappears from the home screen when blocked. New app installations require parental approval, and an auto ON/OFF scheduler can restrict daily playing time. The player supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for wireless headphones, speakers or car stereos, and a microSD slot accepts SDHC or SDXC cards up to 256 GB for extra media storage.
Check File Formats And Charging Setup Before Buying
The player handles MP3, WAV, FLAC, APE, OGG, M4A, AAC, WMA and MP2 audio files, so verify that your library uses compatible formats. Charging is via USB-C and a full charge of the 1500 mAh battery takes roughly two hours, delivering up to 50 hours of music playback with a standby power-saving mode. Remember to set a parental-management password during the first start-up to activate the controls.
